To create this piece Sue used:
|
Antiqued vase, 11" high by 5" wide
1 bunch orange preserved
ti-tree sprigs
11 stems preserved kiwi salal
one-half bunch preserved and
dyed burgundy integrifolia
one-half bunch dried nigella
seed pods
one-half bunch dried dark
purple larkspur
2 bunches dried sunflowers
5 stems dried maidenhair fern
3 stems dried roses
15 preserved and dyed oak leaves
5 stems dried green
hydrangea blossoms
1 bunch dried tansy flowers
one-half bunch safflower |
Start by securing your floral foam in the vase and placing your hydrangea blossoms at various heights to form the outline of the arrangement.
Next, evenly place
the orange preserved ti-tree sprigs forming the basic vertical shape of your arrangement.
Now, simply place the remaining elements (except ferns) interspersed between the hydrangea blossoms and ti-tree sprigs.
Lastly, tuck the maidenhair fern fronds throughout your arrangement to soften
its outline.
